At Saint Martha School, we are dedicated to nurturing academic excellence within a strong Catholic foundation. Our students build solid skills in traditional academic subjects while growing in faith, character, and service. Rooted in Christian values, our mission is to guide each child in learning Christian virtues, developing compassion for others, and discovering the joy of serving God and their community.
By supporting the physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of every child, Saint Martha prepares students to thrive not only academically, but as confident leaders and faithful Disciples of Christ.
InstructionLearning at Saint Martha is engaging, intentional, and student-centered. Through hands-on instruction and interactive learning experiences, students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Our small class sizes and limited enrollment allow teachers to provide individualized attention and support each child’s unique strengths.
Students receive comprehensive instruction in language arts, literature, mathematics, Next Generation Science, social studies, and religion, with Catholic teachings thoughtfully integrated across all subject areas. Technology enhances learning throughout the school, including a well-equipped media center with 28 desktop computers, classroom sets of Chromebooks for students in grades 1–8, and Clevertouch interactive panels in every classroom.
In addition to the core curriculum, students enjoy weekly classes in art, music, physical education, technology, and introductory Spanish. Violin instruction is also available as an elective for students in kindergarten through grade 8, providing a unique opportunity to explore music and creativity.
AssessmentTo support academic growth and instructional planning, students in grades 3–8 participate in the NWEA MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) assessment three times each school year. These adaptive, online assessments adjust to each student’s ability level, providing valuable insights into individual progress. Teachers use this data to guide instruction and ensure students continue to grow and succeed academically.
