My friends,I have terrible news. Father David Hudgins, 53, dearly loved by everyone at Saint Martha, died this morning (January 3, 2022). He perished in a one-car accident that was evidently caused by icy roads.Each of us cherishes memories of an incredibly smart, humble, funny, and absolutely holy priest. Without him as mentor, I can't imagine trying to navigate those challenging first years at this amazing parish.Funeral arrangements are pending.Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.frmike
