Give Shelter to the homeless and empower the vulnerable.
Help support our parishioners, Abe and Emily Rusch, and their organization Smile Again Families as they begin work on a dormitory in Uganda that will provide housing space for 35 mothers and their children, a conference center for retreats, and classrooms to teach vocational skills to the women.
Emily will be speaking at all Masses on February 13 & 14, 2021. See the pictures and video clip below.
Smile Again Families supports teenage mothers in Uganda by helping them discover their inner worth by restoring them emotionally, spiritually, and economically. Smile Again offers vocational training, faith-based retreats, and community support for young mothers, many of whom suffer abuse or neglect.
It was started by former NET Ministries missionaries, Fred and Stella Ssentamu in 2016. Emily Rusch incorporated Smile Again as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the United States in 2020. Together, we affirm the value of every human life and believe that all can find hope and inner worth through God's healing love.
