Pro-LIFE individuals of all ages are invited to join us THIS Sunday in our parking lot to begin with prayer over the group. We will then proceed to the sidewalk along Grand River Avenue, stretching from in front of Saint Martha heading east. Simultaneously, individuals from Saint Mary in Williamson will stretch from the four corners of Grand River Avenue and Putnam Street back west toward Saint Martha. Other groups will be standing along Grand River Avenue in East Lansing and Lansing.
Life Chain is an easy way to get involved in pro-life activism. Just show up for one hour to stand on the sidewalk with others who are not ashamed to publicly witness to their pro-life beliefs. You are welcome to bring non-graphic, peaceful and supportive signs advocating for life.
In 1987, a small pro-life group called Please Let Me Live from Yuba City, California held the first Life Chain. Since then, on the first Saturday of October across the United States, pro-life individuals have gathered in cities to make a public, prayerful, peaceful stand for Life. In 1990, the Campaign Life Coalition brought Life Chain into Canada from the U.S. Together, our countries have continued this powerful public witness that has endured the test of years, and has saved lives and changed hearts.
