Faith Formation and Discipleship

The Catholic faith is rich and deep, and one could spend a lifetime studying the faith without fully mining the treasures that have been revealed to us in Jesus Christ. Whether you're a lifelong Catholic with a degree in theology or someone just beginning to ask questions about God, our existence, or the Church, we have many opportunities for you to grow in your faith and experience a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.

In its simplest form, our Catholic faith contains 7 key elements that can start one on their journey of faith:

1.    God loves you, individually, and has a plan for your life.
2.    Sin will destroy you; it kills the soul.
3.    Jesus Christ, fully human and fully God, died and rose to save you from sin.
4.    Repent and believe in the Gospel.
5.    Be Baptized and receive the Holy Spirit.
6.    Abide in Christ and in his body, the Church.
7.    Go and make disciples.

These are obviously not exhaustive of what we believe as Catholics, but they contain the core message of the Gospel, or the Good News of Jesus Christ.
