The Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life.” The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.
~ Catechism of the Catholic Church 1324
If you are an adult and are interested in learning more about receiving the Eucharist please contact Deacon Carl Boehlert. Deacon Carl leads a group called RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. This is a group on adults who are interested in exploring the Catholic Faith. There is no commitment, just a chance to learn more and possibly reach the goal of becoming a full member of the Catholic Church by receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion and Conformation. To find out more, please contact Deacon Carl.
If you have a child who is in, or soon will be in, the second grade or older and are interested in them receiving their First Communion, please contact Jackie Rosalez or check out our Children and Family Ministry page under the Faith Formation Tab.
