At St. Martha Parish, we excitedly accompany couples as they prepare for the vocation of Christian marriage. In the Sacrament of Matrimony, a man and a woman enter into a sacred covenant, united by God to love one another as Christ loves the Church. This lifelong commitment is both a holy calling and a source of grace, not only for the couple but for the entire Church community.
We invite all engaged couples to begin this sacred journey with prayer, discernment, and careful preparation. Our marriage preparation process starts with a couple inventory before meeting with a priest or deacon, the follows the Witness to Love program. Couples must contact the parish at least nine months before their desired wedding date. If you're recently engaged or exploring marriage in the Church, we would love to hear from you and walk with you in this important season of your life.
