A Note from Dcn. Carl

Dear St. Martha Parishioners,

I would like to thank you for all your wonderful support over the last 20 years that you have provided to me and my family since we moved to Michigan in 2005. I would also like to thank you for the wonderful support you have offered to me since I was ordained a deacon and assigned to Saint Martha Parish in May 2015. On April 26, 2023, I was asked by Bishop Boyea to think about the possibility of transferring to Cristo Rey Parish in Lansing. After prayerfully considering that, now I feel like it is a good time to do that. My wife and I plan to remain in our home in the Forest Hills Neighborhood in Okemos, so we will not be far away from Saint Martha Parish. I hope to continue to stay in touch with you and catch up on all the great things happening at Saint Martha. Have a blessed and safe rest of the summer!
