Part-time Classroom, Playground, Childcare, and Afterschool Program Aides

Our school and staff are growing!

Saint Martha School has several
open part-time Aide positions
for the 2022-2023 school year.

Teacher's Aide: provide assistance with student supervision, classroom preparation, clerical help, and lunchroom duties

Teacher's Aide and Playground Supervisor: provide assistance with lesson implementation, classroom preparation, clerical help, student supervision, and lunchroom duties. Additionally, Playground duties include supervision for our students during recess times by ensuring student safety and appropriate behavior, providing safe transportation to and from classrooms to the playground, and communicating with teachers and administration as needed

Childcare Teacher's Aide: assist the lead teacher in promoting emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth for students in our elementary school grades

Afterschool Program Staff: provide supervision for our after school care program including, but not limited to: student supervision, academic support during homework time, leading and facilitating activities, and positive interaction with parents, students, and staff.


All Applicants must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma, preferably with childcare experience and be someone who is of dependable, responsible, and team-oriented character. Additionally, candidates must:

• Have a passion for working with children of all developmental levels
• Be a positive representative of Saint Martha School and our Catholic Faith community.
• Have scheduling flexibility.
• Follow confidentiality requirements regarding children and families. 
• Complete background check, CPR/First Aid Training, be able to provide proper immunization and medical requirements, complete Virtus Protecting God’s Children certification, and any other training as required by State of Michigan Licensing for child care centers.
