Mrs. Anne Tahaney teaches our Middle School Social Studies classes, and is home base for our 8th grade Miracles!
Anne is a lifelong resident of the Lansing area, and graduated from Okemos High School and MSU. Upon completing her degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management, she worked in hotels in the Washington, D.C. and Orlando areas before returning to Michigan to pursue a degree in Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from MSU.
Anne has been a parishioner here since returning to Michigan in 1991 and one of our teachers since 1996. Her love of teaching history is often combined with her love of baking. Middle School students can frequently be seen in the kitchen at school making dishes popular during the colonial era or World War II.
Anne is married and has 3 grown step-children.
