All are welcome to join us on Fridays for our sports night. The only requirements are a good sense of sportsmanship and an openness to meet new people. Generally we play a variety of sports such as ultimate frisbee, volleyball, soccer, dodgeball, basketball, and even board games on occasion. Afterward a group of us will head out to a local restaurant for food, drinks, and to socialize. This group is not limited to St Martha and we will post where each event is taking place on our group's facebook page. If you do not use facebook you can also signup to receive text updates for each event.
We are young adults from the Lansing area who meet on a weekly basis to develop camaraderie through joyful competition in a variety of sports.
Generally each Friday we meet to play ultimate frisbee, basketball, volleyball, soccer, or dodgeball from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, and then head out to a local restaurant afterward for food and drinks. During the summer we usually play ultimate frisbee, and during the winter we will move inside to play basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and/or dodgeball.
Below you can scroll through our text updates to see when our next event is, or you can follow our facebook page to see our events and pictures there. Also please be aware that sports night does take place at different parishes in the Lansing area, so make sure to check the location for each event.
