Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders!
Middle school can be tough and we want to be a place where you can belong and feel accepted for the wonderful person you are, created in God’s image! Come hang out with other Catholic middle schoolers and have a great time!
Community
Our world needs good and faithful Catholics!
You are a reflection of who you are friends with. Our goal at Youth Group is to create a space where you can foster positive, lasting,
and faithful friendships that will push you
to be the best version of yourself you can be!
When you surround yourself with positive people, not only will you have a great time,
you can be each other's encouragement
through the ups and downs of everyday life!
Hebrews 10:24-25
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day
of his return is drawing near.”
Education
Most of us form friendships through a process of learning information about the other person and from that you create a bond or connection. Whatever that thing is that you love to do, would not be as exciting
if you did not know anything about it.
We are information driven people,
who need information to make decisions,
and to learn about someone or something.
The same thing applies here:
to truly know our faith and our God we have to be open to information and knowledge.
One significant goal of our Youth Ministry
is to help each of you develop a heart for truth and knowledge so you can continue
to grow in faith and closeness to our Lord.
Wisdom 7:15
“May God grant me the ability to
speak wisely and to think thoughts worthy of all I have learned. He is the guide
of wisdom and the director of the wise.”
Service
One of the most integral parts of our Catholic faith is service. We can serve others in so many different ways from visiting an elderly home to baking cookies for a family member or friend who is going through a hard time.
Through youth ministry, we hope to give you many opportunities to develop a love for
serving others, and to help you learn how to use the gifts you have been given to serve others and the Lord in your everyday life.
Matthew 25: 40
“Amen I say to you,
whatever you did for one of these
least brothers of mine, you did for me.”
Peter 4:10
“As each one has received a gift,
use it to serve one another
as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
